Alexander Calder's
Circus
1926-31
If you are anything like me, When you hear the name Alexander Calder you will likely visualize one of his famous mobiles. How could I have missed a thing like Calder's Circus?? It is absolutely delightful, clever and well... wonderful. Created from wire, wood, cloth and other scrap materials, these forms were an exploration with color, shape and movement that ultimately lead to calder's mobiles, standing mobiles and wire portraits. Enjoy! xKlara
